A Plum & Mauve Vintage Styled Tablescape

With Valentine’s Day coming up, we felt inspired to create a romantic tablescape for two. But, we didn’t want to use typical Valentine’s Day colors, and instead opted for deep purple/plum, and dusty rose/mauve. For our accent colors, we opted for rose gold & gold. And of course, a bit of greenery doesn’t hurt!

Our Samantha loveseat was the perfect seating option for this sweet and intimate dinner setup, and our dark wood Brienne sweetheart table was the perfect foundation.

We began by adding a dusty rose chiffon table runner, and mauve napkins. We tied in the deep purple/plum elements by adding plum salad plates, water goblets, and tapered candles.

To tie in our metallic accents, we added gold chargers, gold flatware, rose gold painted pears, and brass candle holders.

To make sure that we were still tying in vintage elements, we used vintage rose-patterned china, and vintage bud vases with just a few sprigs of eucalyptus and a flower in each. Hand-lettered name cards made this table more intimate and lovely.

The finishing touch was the greenery and flower cluster hung above the loveseat. Such a small, yet charming detail!

This table was so much fun to style! I hope that it has inspired you to style your own table for your next special event. :)

Until next time,
